Standing on firm rocks has solid places for standing...but isn't this picture intriguing? In the 'dry ice' there is such a strong element of unknowing...what is below?
You cannot know until the fog fades away...but you can still stand firmly on the Rock. He knows what you cannot.
Reflections of my personal journey through life with God as my guide, shelter and ever-present source.

dry ice...sure does look like it!
The door is open and light is coming in...
Revelation 3:20 (The Message)
20-21"Look at me. I stand at the door. I knock. If you hear me call and open the door, I'll come right in and sit down to supper with you. Conquerors will sit alongside me at the head table, just as I, having conquered, took the place of honor at the side of my Father. That's my gift to the conquerors!
Did you ever realize this invitation is to you as a guest of honor? GOD wants to have dinner with you. This is AWESOME! Don't miss it for anything!!!

Moonlight Serenade . . .
Bill Dan, an artist who can see balance in rocks with an uncanny skill and patience.
Do you see an ability you share?
Bill hears the rocks balance point which is constantly changing as other rocks are balanced upon it.
You constantly change your balance as friends and associates around you are included into your world.
But there is a wonderful fact that comes in this observation. GOD alone created the rocks, the physics and all the forces acting upon each rock. He is the source of all balance.

just a column...
...so you need to make something that will hold up a very heavy roof. Over the years, the roof and most of the structure are gone.
But this column still stands...that is a testament to the physics and the construction technology the builders had used so brilliantly long ago...and without benefit of CAD, building codes or permits...
So why does it also speak of the incredible craftsmanship and intricate artistry of the creator's as well? Why did they spend so much time creating a work of art just to hold a roof up? What was their motivation?
Maybe they knew we would come along and ask the question....and they had lots of time on their hands back then...
Aren't we fortunate to view such beauty that would not or could not be replicated in today's masterpieces?
